Once Upon A Time...I was allergic to running.  Every year in High School, I would hope for a broken ankle so that I wouldn't have to do the required Presidential Mile.  It was awful.  I wondered how anyone could ever enjoy this sport.  Then, I grew up a little bit and decided that I'd knock something off of the bucket list and joined a relay team for the Pittsburgh Marathon in 2011.  I had a blast despite my lack of training and terrible shoes.  It was then that I called on my friend Jenn at Mojo and got the right shoes and joined the very first C25K program.  I was hooked.  Now I have 7 half marathons under my belt, as well as many other races of various distance.

I am the resident slow poke but I have so much fun bringing up the rear.  I am a testament to the old "if I can do it, anyone can do it" because with a plethora of health issues, 3 kids and many other obligations, I still found the love of the run.
