JOIN US for Passavant Hospital Foundation's 5th Annual Scrub Run/Walk (8K and 4K Race) on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the North Park Pool Loop.

Come one come all! A Friday night in the summer is the perfect time to come together with family and friends for a great run or a fun walk! Tired of doing the same old 5K loop? Now is your chance to change it up or add a little mileage, along with an evening start time.

Course: North Park Pool Loop  (Hemlock Drive, Allison Park, PA 15101)

Participants have the option of running or walking two loops for the 8K or one loop for the 4K. Both races will have awards in each age group.

4:00 - 7:00 PM  Packet Pickup - Passavant Hospital Foundation 

Friday, August 18

5:00 PM  Same-Day Packet Pickup - Harmar Pavilion

7:00 PM  Race Begins - Starting Line at Pie Traynor Field

Post-Race Celebration immediately following at Harmar Pavilion.

TThe 9th annual Silvsester Celebration (voted Best Winter Event) kicks off with a 5K race, followed by 1 Mile leading up to the New Year's celebration on German time at 6:00 p.m. (midnight in Germany).  Run your last race of the year and stay for the count-down to a ball-drop, fireworks and singing of Auld Lang Syne. Many other activities in town - shopping, museum tour, Bleigiessen (melted lead that predicts that the New Year will bring), food, music and more. 

Event details and schedule
CHANGES THIS YEAR:  In order to help with traffic control, the 5K race will start 1/2 hour later at 3:30; 1 Mile at 4:15.  Registration still inside Grace Church Youth Center. In order to speed things up so we an all enjoy the count-down festivites, door prize winners will be drawn while the races are in progress, just come inside and see if you've won and if you've won in your age group, you don't have to wait around. Age group award will be handed out at finish-line. Parking available at the church and surrounding areas (all within walking distance). Bring clothes to change into if you want to stay for the count-down.  Hope to see you there!
Celebrate the start of the 2015-16 Pittsburgh Penguins season by participating in the third annual Pittsburgh Penguins 6.6K Run and Family Walk presented by CONSOL Energy on October 4, 2015.  
 
The unique 6.6K distance (4.1 miles) pays homage to Pittsburgh Penguins great Mario Lemieux, and proceeds from the event benefit two Pittsburgh charities, the Mario Lemieux Foundation and the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation. 
 
The 6.6K Run will begin at CONSOL Energy Center, run through Pittsburgh streets and return to CONSOL Energy Center for the finish. Post-race, all 6.6K Run and One-Mile Walk participants will be granted access to CONSOL Energy Center using their race bib for a Pittsburgh Penguins open practice. Please note, you must have a race bib to enter the Penguins open practice. Children ages 5 & under will be granted access with a guardian who has a race bib.
